To foster holistic development and bring joy to children's lives, we organized a Khel Pratiyogita (Children’s Competition). The event created a platform for children from underprivileged communities to express themselves creatively, build confidence, and learn in a playful manner.
Activities included:
Drawing and painting competitions on the themes of “My Village, My Dream” and “Save Nature.”
Storytelling and poem recitation by children in Hindi and local dialects.
Games, role plays.
Prize distribution and educational kits to the winners.
Parents, teachers, and volunteers were present to encourage the children. The event helped strengthen the bond between the learning centers and the community, while giving children a safe and cheerful space to grow.
Lok Vikas Sansthan hosted the latest NGO Forum Nawada Meeting, a unique platform where 10 NGOs from the district came together to collaborate, learn, and plan. The goal was to enhance grassroots coordination and strengthen responses to social issues.
Highlights of the meeting:
Group discussions on child welfare, education, and women's safety.
Legal updates on FCRA, CSR collaborations, and government schemes.
A presentation on Lok Vikas Sansthan’s community models for replication.
Action plan to form three joint working groups in areas of education, environment, and women empowerment.
The forum concluded with a renewed commitment toward unity and cooperation among civil society organizations in Nawada.

To mark World Environment Day, Lok Vikas Sansthan led a community-based Tree Plantation and Eco-Awareness Campaign in rural areas. The initiative engaged school children, SHG members, panchayat leaders, and farmers to highlight the importance of a healthy environment for sustainable living.

In celebration of International Women’s Day, we organized a large-scale awareness and celebration campaign under the theme “Empower Her, Empower Society.” Women from various self-help groups, adolescent girls, Anganwadi workers, and local leaders came together to share their voices and stories. Showcasing success stories from women entrepreneurs in our SHGs.
Cultural performances by girls and local youth to spread messages on gender equality.

The energy, enthusiasm, and unity of the women who participated made it a memorable and powerful event, inspiring collective strength for ongoing change.
